I understand that our company would receive the following benefits from World Trade:
- 24 HOUR GUARANTEE – WTD guarantees released (permitted to transfer) and available C.E.S containers will be tendered to US Customs at World Trade within 24 hours, or the DRAY to the World Trade Distribution (WTD) CES is free.
- Notify WTD at least 24 hours before free time is up, and WTD guarantees you will not be paying demurrage to the ramp or port. WTD will pay any resulting demurrage.
- (Containers must be released and available for pick up with pick up numbers for ramp moves. Dray charges will apply.)
- No exam fee surprises. Pay only per WTD published fixed rate quotes for exams.
- Released containers are available for immediate pick-up with a 30 minute driver “no-wait” turnaround guarantee – or the driver’s lunch is on WTD!
- Upon US Customs release, all charges emailed or faxed to you are final. If we fail to include some charges at that time WTD will absorb the additional charges. Guaranteed!
- (Per Diem, return drayage, and storage charges billed separately).
- Live web tracking of exam status and release, supplemented by automatic proactive email updates of change in cargo status.
To obtain these benefits:
We will instruct our Customhouse Broker to designate S903 in Box 29 of the 3461 ABI transmission for all our import shipments and request they coordinate with World Trade to enable the smooth flow of information and releases.
We agree and understand that “released (permitted to transfer) and available containers” are those that have been released by the Steamship line and there are no holds on the movement of the container and chassis.
We further understand that this guarantee is void in the event of Acts of God, War or Strikes.
